Expanding on a Great Idea

img-franchisingSuccess in business often depends on the development of a unique idea. That idea can be applied in such a way that it makes people’s lives better. It might be a completely new product, or it might be an old product delivered in a revolutionary way. Netflix serves as a textbook example of a company that anticipated market demand well before the rest of the pack. As a result, the company has flourished.

Likewise, entrepreneurs don’t need to reinvent the wheel in order to be successful. Sometimes it’s enough to simply take an existing product and tap into an emerging market. Franchising encapsulates this idea perfectly. People in the remote woods of northern Michigan didn’t know how much they liked Taco Bell until the chain came to them. Just try weaning them off the stuff now. Franchises are simple to set up, and they are known for garnering serious profits.
